If this is your first time building a new home, or if you are trying to decide if renovating or adding an addition to your current home is the best option, you may have a lot of questions about hiring a construction company and the building process. Homeowner education is an important part of our construction proces, so our General Contractor, Kim Hibbs, is always available to answer questions via email or by phone– no matter where you are in the decision making process. We think it is important to provide you with the tools to make a decision without the pressure of a hard sales tactic or sales gimmicks.
Here is what you can expect when talking to us about your home construction project:
Should I Build or Renovate My Home?
Our first meeting is a chance for us to meet you and learn about your goals and dreams. This initial meeting is a chance for us to get to know you, give you an idea of how we work, and answer questions about your project including: how to select an architect, how we develop accurate construction budgets, and construction loan financing. Our goal is to give you with enough information to make the right decision about your project.
Is Hibbs Homes the Right Home Construction Company for My Project?
After you’ve made the decision on new construction, renovation or adding an addition we will meet a second time to talk more in depth about goals and logistics, and discuss the next steps for your construction project. Hibbs Homes is a custom homebuilder so we don’t have spec homes open for tours, but we do have many satisfied clients who are willing to open their doors and allow you to tour their home so you can Experience the Hibbs Homes Difference. The goal of this meeting is to help you decide if Hibbs Homes is the right custom home builder for your project.
How Do I Get Started with My New Home Construction Project?
After you have selected Hibbs Homes for your new home construction, we meet to set up a Pre-Construction Services Agreement. We will get into the finer details of your project, deadlines, budgeting, and financing. This initial agreement is to get us through the design and planning phases, and it will eventually become part of the construction contract. This is when your dream home becomes a reality.
